MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000.

c-erb B-3 protein, a 180kD glycoprotein which is a growth factor receptor with tyrosine kinase activity. c-erb B-3 is expressed widely in normal human tissues, but is overexpressed in some tumors, including those of the breast, stomach, pancreas and colon.

Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, FLISA and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry: Frozen
Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.

Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse SP2/0 myeloma cell line.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
