B cells can be detected in peripheral blood and tissues. Labels all B lymphocytes in peripheral blood and spleen but is negative on granulocytes, monocytes, platelets, T lymphocytes and erythrocytes. Reacts with most B cell malignancies including chronic leukemia and most lymphomas, but not multiple myeloma. This antibody is useful for enumerating normal B lymphocytes and typing B cell malignancies by flow cytometry and immunofluorescence.
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested.
Flow Cytometry: Neat. 10ul labels 10e6 cells or 100ul whole blood.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Recommended Negative Control:
I1904-79D: IgG1 Murine Negative Control (PE)
Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot and store at 4°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer
