May play a role in the pathophysiology of liver disease and may serve as a marker of liver damage.Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.Recommended Dilution:ELISA: To detect human MIA-2 by sandwich ELISA (using 100ml/well) a concentration of 0.25-1ug/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with Polyclonal Anti-human MIA-2 as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant human MIA-2.ELISA (Direct): To detect human MIA-2 by direct ELISA (using 100ml/well) a concentration of approximately 1ug/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant human MIA-2.Western Blot: To detect human MIA-2 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2mg/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible development reagents the detection limit for recombinant Human MIA-2 is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
